Queues

A queue records decisions deferred. Delete backlog items once their context has cooled; work that still matters will be requested again when the timing is better.

Work in progress

A useful WIP limit forces a decision when new work arrives. That conversation costs less than carrying ten half-finished changes through review.

Change

When change feels hard, problems can take over the team’s story. Leaders shift the culture by making progress visible and celebrating it, even when the gain is one blocked ticket cleared or a shorter review queue.

I help technology organisations find clarity, build stronger teams, and turn strategy into useful progress.

I’m a technology leader with more than 15 years’ experience across start-ups, scale-ups, and established organisations. I’ve built and led engineering teams, modernised cloud platforms, and taken on wider operational responsibilities, including Acting COO.

I’m equally happy working through strategy with a leadership team or getting into the detail with engineers. Currently, I work with leadership teams through Burendo.
